Discussion on problems faced in the plywood industry
Jalandhar (PLYBAZAR News Desk) : The General House meeting of the Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association was held in Jalandhar on 6th April. In this meeting the problems faced in the plywood industry are discussed in detail. In this meeting, all the officers and members of the Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association decided to increase the prices of plywood, Board and Flush Doors by 10%. The decision to increase prices was taken due to the rising prices of Raw Material.

Naresh Tiwari, Chairman All India Plywood Manufacturer Association (AIPMA), suggested that aal the plywood manufacturers will stop supplies to those plywood dealers who are not making or intentionally delaying payments against the material purchased from plywood industry. Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association has passed it to save the industries from bad debts and unnecessary delay in the payments.It will also be circulated to all the manufacturer of India.

Ashok Juneja Chairman and Inderjeet Singh Sohal President (PPMA) said that infrastructural development and construction activities are growing day by day in the country and slump period is almost over. They said “A” class business is must for progress and need of the hour, no manufacturer should sell the material without bill. E-way bill system on intra-state sales in punjab is likely to be implemented very shortly.

Sukhdev Chhabra Secretary General (PPMA) said that waterproof stamp must be affixed on water proof material & not wrongly on commercial items.

Vishak Juneja & Harkiran Sohal General Secretaries (PPMA) said that Gove. must help to solve the labour shortage problem being faced by industry since labour migrating to their native places since at present the opportunities have started existing due to fast development throughout india.

Ranjit Singh & Wazir Sood Secretaries said that the deputation of Punjab Plywood Manufacturers Association will meet punjab Cheif Minister S. Amrinder Singh For conveying that Ex-CM Parkash Singh Badal deferred charging of the market committee fee. As such no checking be made by the said deppartment being unjustified & Illogical.
